Floral Waters
Floral Waters are also known as hydrosols, hydroflorates, hydrolates and distillates. Regardless of the name, true ‘Floral Waters’ are the condensate water that is left behind when plant materials are steamed or water distilled to produce essential oils.
Within every drop of this Floral Water are all the therapeutically active properties that are found in the essential oils but just in a far lesser quantity. This is no bad thing because Floral Waters have a multitude of uses and can be used neat in many applications where essential oils would be deemed too strong. Floral Waters are commonly used as facial toners, cooling agents, deodorants and are added to the iron; to impart fragrance into clothes and added to many cosmetic applications.
Neroli Floral Water
Also known as Orange Blossom, this subtle aroma is produced in France and it has a deeply calming and balancing effect on the soul and is very useful for treating oily skin complexions.
