Aromatically this is an intensely rich, bright, saturating and uplifting lavender experience. I think the keywords for me here would be “refreshing” and “mouth-watering” as that is how I perceive this Firenze Lavender E.O. When I inhale this lavender e.o I can imagine the summer months here in Tuscany so clearly, fields of lavender gently swaying in the soft peaceful afternoon breeze, and this gorgeous scent gently saturating the air whilst the sound of the cicada’s chirp in the trees. Making for the most blissful of siestas imaginable here in beautiful Italy.

I don’t wish to ruffle any French feathers, but as I muse about the lavender essential oils I have experienced from France across the past 25 years, I realise none of them hit the same levels of excellency. I’d even go so far to say that not even CO2 produced lavenders I have experienced communicate the same level of love, feeling and wonderment as this Firenze Lavender. For me that’s an incredible realisation as generally CO2 extraction is the way to go when you want to capture and display the essence of the plant as true to its living state as can be.

Yellow in colour, of a pourable viscosity, produced by steam distillation of the lavender flowers. As for perfumery uses, works wonders with floral, lavender, herbaceous, citrus, woody and tobacco compositions, imparting fresh natural character and additional lift. Pairs like the perfect marriage with many aromatics including patchouli, jasmine, rose and sandalwood.”
