17th April at 2.15pm: Quick update to say all orders placed on the 9th have been collected just now by DHL. Orders placed on the 10th and 11th will all leave by the 19th. I will type again on Friday regarding orders placed from the 12th onwards. Other news, by Friday I am releasing a few more very big ticket rarities including our Italian Oakwood Absolute and a super grail rose otto. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma of Ionone Beta in the opening is full of parma violet candy nuances and this leads onto a heart of chalky, dry woody, cold sweet floral and fruity character. The base notes are again parma violet candies, orris floral, dry cedar woody, powdery, with somewhat foody nuances and a very pleasant play-doh vanilla sweet character.
The aroma lasts for just under 100 hours on my smelling strip, clear in colour, of a pourable viscosity and as for uses Ionone beta is a must for orris accords, floral bouquets, pairs very well with rose, orange blossom and violet leaf materials, provides increased substantivity when used within citrus and woody accords and is a great study material.”
Extracted from litsea cubeba essential oil.
Wholesale weights (all prices excluding vat): 50G = 90 Euros. 100G = 170 Euros.

I can not get enough of smelling this one. To me it seems it would pair well with anything – did not try, though – I am afraid I’d run out of it 😀 It lasts for days, too. Such a relaxing, powdery freshness this is! Quite unoffensive, it fleets out of and back into senses and gives time to really, REALLY miss it. And when you think it’s gone, it surprises you with its beautiful not-too-sweet freshness embracing a darkish, slightly bitter and woody character at it’s centre. A must smell, for sure. Addictive. And comes from litsea cubeba, can not believe it 🙂

Great stuff that indeed pairs well with florals and citruses, woods.. a little goes a long way so beware. It’ll really give your perfume formula an extra boost.

Lovely and soft when used sparingly and blended with other fixatives giving everything that powdery ‘sweet but not sweet’ drydown with a sense of false fleetingness as someone else suggested. Very clever the way it does it as it makes you crave more and it just keeps giving. I used this in a chypre type formula and it gave it that very classic feminine note I was after, rounding out everything else too.

MUCH better than the synthetic stuff, more diffusive, more powerful, more natural (of course!). Love it in almost every floral composition.

Although at its first try i feld this ionone beta a little” oily” after i used it in a composition properly i realized its great work..notes of violets, powdery aspects and great orris qualities..sure ill it buy again!!

What a beautiful, well rounded Beta ionone! It’s sweet and earthy violets, softly green. Must stock up on this one.

Coming from the ‘purist’ all-Nature synergy perspective, I am very picky and weary about isolates, with exceptions for rarified, ‘impossible’ scents. This is the most wonderful exception, to the point of changing my opinion that a single molecule can smell complex enough to evoke emotions – in this case addictively Delightful: I happily have overdosed it right with the first use in a masculine sensual Fougere I’m currently working on.
Upon more detailed observation, the impression of the scent comes rather as a part of a refined mature Iris root than of a flower, with a pungent earthy weight even in its supporting green tone. Great sillage, and very tenacious in drydown.
