Champaca White Absolute

Adam Michael has this to say “Hermitage Oils champaca white absolute is grown and produced within the Indian state of Odisha, formerly known as Orissa. This material is produced from the highly fragrant flowers by solvent extraction, orange-brown in colour, and of a pourable viscosity.  The aroma is sweet, dry-floral with orange blossom, ylang ylang and to a lesser extent, mountain tea nuances throughout and possesses a rich headiness comparable to Jasmine absolute. We now also offer red champaca.”

Arctander has this to say “Champaca Absolute is used in high-class perfumes where it may produce a unique, warm, floral-leafy note which is often compared to that of a fine grade of tea. The absolute blends excellently with lily-of-the-valley bases, carnation, rose, violet etc., and it is most generally applicable in this respect.”
