Portland Rose Extrait from Enfleurage
Joseph Colbourne has this to say “Gorgeous, glistening top notes greet the nose as one first experiences this extrait from enfleurage—it is much like nuzzling right into a Portland Rose bloom. The scent is a holographic depiction, if you will, complete with velvet petals, fuzzy pollen, and the overall radiance that is rarely captured in a fragranced material. The dry down has aspects of citrus, bergamot, geranium, cinnamon, and powder. Such elegance is found in this gentle extrait which has top-note longevity (fifteen minutes), but can serve as a very useful, realistic rosy top note for a rose accord or floral composition.”
Botanical Name: Rosa ‘Duchess of Portland’
