Adam Michael has this to say “This rose concrete from Turkey is such an inviting material that I couldn’t resist evaluating it directly on my skin. The soft waxy consistency of this Turkish rose concrete melts immediately revealing its top notes, characteristically deep rich rose damascena floral and very similar actually to smelling the Turkish absolute neat from the bottle.
Slowly this concrete material begins to literally ooze wet dewy rose and a gorgeous plush velvety geranium warmth. This material then takes a very interesting turn as it morphs into something that better resembles smelling Persian rose otto, bursting with those light, delicate, and intensely fresh rose water nuances. This is all underpinned with a gentle sparkling metallic geranium quality that I better associate with the top notes of a good bottle of Chinese geranium. This otto aroma finishes with a noticeable sweet musk rose nuance that actually reminds me of smelling pink rose musk otto.
The colour is orange yellow when solid and comparable to Vaseline as it is very soft and waxy. This is such an uplifting and feel good material, brilliant for those creating solid perfumes, truly sublime for creating luxury hand creams, face creams and lotions and generally this is a must try material for everyone who loves rose. Highly recommend to everyone.”

This concrete is everything the description above says and more.
Sooo good and versatile.
Can’t get enough.

This Turkish Rose Concrete has a sublime, airy, citrus-like quality amongst the waxy, light petals.
I actually enjoy this more than the essential oil, especially for making attar as it imparts a wider spectrum of aroma to a blend.
It is smooth and soft with petals that feel like they have been touched by white ambergris.

I love this concrete so much. There are moments while smelling this material that reminds me of my childhood and smelling roses as I passed them by. I’ve been adding this Turkish rose to my mixes straight, shaking everyday and after six weeks I’ll remove any remaining pieces with a quick freeze and filter.

I have several little tubs of this in my Hermitage stash and delight in it both “straight from the bottle” as well as a base to creamy solid perfume and lotions. It’s easy to work with due to its lovely, luscious texture, and envelops you like a warm embrace with its notes of all water, earth, and sun.

This is a nice modern rose. Jammy, fresh, “young”, warm and full of possibilities. I agree that it is similar to geranium. I am looking forward to purchasing more on my next order!

To me, this rose concrete has become a reference material for pure and true-to-nature rose scent. It’s dewy-fresh and has none of the typical side notes, like jam or honey (or worse), which are actually not present in the live scent to the same degree as some materials would make you believe (I have 7 different fragrant roses in my garden). An ideal addition for ultra-fine skin care products!

I love this one for sure, the scent is not strong but it’s fruity and sweet. I used it to make an oil, diluting 1ml in 10ml carrier oil and it was such a treat to my skin. So, for a purpose like that it is perfect, or a top note in a solid perfume maybe, or as the start of a solid perfume. I do recommend trying it! The oil I made felt like luxury and the scent was not overwhelming on the face. I loved it.
