19th April at 5pm: Quick update to first say I have now added the following big ticket aromatics to the website: Italian Oakwood Absolute, Organic Georgian Rose Raduga Otto and finally Persian P.E.A Intense Rose (Otto). Orders, as I type with exception to 3 orders, every order placed up until the 11th has left with the couriers. By Monday 22nd, all orders placed up until the 14th will leave with couriers and I will type again across Monday with another update. Bulk Wholesale orders that still need to be manually typed and billed will be done so by Tuesday 23rd. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Eleonora Scalseggi has this to say “Vanillas are climbing orchids hailing from Central America whose seed pods exhale one of the most divinely intoxicating scents (and flavours!) on earth. Very complex to produce – requiring a very time consuming hand pollination in the first place and then a long, delicate curing process of the seed pods because surprisingly these are odourless when just picked from the plant. It is only after this curing process that the moist, plump vanilla beans will have developed their widely sought-after, mouth-watering aroma. A truly fascinating natural material.
Along with the more famous Bourbon vanilla (Vanilla planifolia), Tahitian vanilla is one of the few other cultivated vanilla varieties and displays a much brighter aroma profile, less dark-woody and tobacco-like and instead more radiant floral vanillin, caramelised-sugar sweet along with warm hints of dry plum notes. A more straightforward vanilla than the bourbon quality, to be preferred in compositions where no woody or tobacco notes are desired.
Tinctured at 15% in ethanol and conveniently aged and mellowed for one year, this product is a cost-effective and easy to work with alternative to other natural vanilla materials (notoriously often difficult to dissolve into ethanol), boasting good longevity for a tincture and a luscious drydown.”
Botanical Name: Vanilla tahitensis
Origin: Tahiti

This vanilla product is way more different than the vanilla bourbon absolute. In my mind it’s associated with cream-flavored food products. In fact the word “crème” is very close to the odor of the Tahitian vanilla. The odor is soft sweet vanilla with a top note of some medicinal-sweetness and a dairy background that could be easily described as a light and soft sweet cream. This is a soft creamy masterpiece. After 10 minutes it smoothens a lot to become a wonderful light creamy natural note with cherry-like fruity aspects in its dryout. The effect of the word “soft” here is that the Tahitian product seems more of a “natural” vanillin, than a more caramel-like natural sweetness of the absolute products.
If there was a tool for creating imaginary meals in Heaven, I could easily order vanilla cream bowls flavored with this odor every single time. The sense is so fulfilling that you feel instantly bliss and happiness all over your body. Well, even if they don’t serve Tahitian vanilla flavored meals, at least I could have some smelling strips with this tincture solution on it, can I? Please?? God???

Wowza! This vanilla is absolutely gorgeous! It has a radiant, “floral vanillin” character to it. It has an initial caramel crackle in the beginning (yes I meant crackle- I’ve paired it with some amazing aldehydic white florals) and it just exalts anything you pair it with. It makes a natural jasmine sing, is incredible with gardenia and just knocks me out when combined with tobacco absolute. I am in heaven! It’s liquid gold and I just can’t get enough. Adam… never stop carrying this, it my favorite vanilla I think I have ever smelled.
Love,
Miss Layla

I feel lucky that I have obtained a bottle (thanks to Hermitage I now know a different kind of vanilla exists). It’s a must try for sure. I prefer this one to Bourbon vanilla. Less heavier than Planifolia, more lively and so soft and creamy, it is unbelievable. Would never connect vanilla with the adjective “floral” – until now, that is.

Beautiful, sexy and rich scent. The opening of it is very interesting and intriguing (it reminds me of something floral, perhaps jasmin?). It is long lasting but the projection after a short while becomes much less intense.
