Simply speaking, this is absolutely perfect citrus top note, uplifting, sunny and yummy. It is very versatile and would go well with with vast amount of aromatics. Wow! The 2020 batch of blood orange is absolutely breathtaking. I have an earlier batch but it is no match for this one. Juicy and fresh. It smells like a combination of yuzu, cedrat, orange and grapefruit. It is the perfect citrus.

This oil is fresh, juicy orange juice. I thought it would have some sour, but just sweet juicy aromas, very full bodied, and diffusive, this has presence. And it has sparkle, an effervescence. Very nice !

The one I got is organic. Not sure why its no more available. Anyway, this material is a marvel within the citrus category. Fresh, sweet and offers a citrus note without any bitterness. And drinkable by adding some drops to Solubol…But I would only drink it if its from organic origin.

Like every other citruses I’ve got from Hermitageoils, this is it, I can depict the actual fruit in front of me when smelling the oil. I am no expert but imo this is high quality, and I secretly want to drink it. Gorgeous, and at this price point, really a no brainer.

This is a delicious orange oil, and yes the blood orange flavour is there, but in my opinion it’s not quite bloody enough. Maybe I was spoilt from a batch a few years ago that had a real red berry twist with a colour to match. The last couple I’ve bought don’t quite reach that fruity depth but then I remember that this is something that goes with the territory of working with naturals, in that no two harvests can ever be truly identical. Still, a gorgeous oil nonetheless.
