Hinoki Essential Oil (Japan)

Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma profile Of Japanese hinoki essential oil is woody, camphor, cold, green, with fresh, minty sensations.

The heart and base notes of hinoki essential oil are soft woody themed, masculine to my nose, a little milky creamy, a touch leathery, medicinal camphoric and somehow with a trace green-spice finish.

Produced from the wood, pale yellow to golden yellow subject to weight or volume and of a pourable viscosity.

Uses, generally pairs like a marriage made in heaven with fellow woody aromatics, sandalwood, cedars, Siam and so on, and provides interesting effects when used in conjunction with frankincense and amber aromatics.”
