23rd April at 4.10pm: Unfortunately, regarding the message below and lead-times, I called it wrong. My apologies. As such all orders placed upto the 15th - and about half of those placed on the 16th, will leave by Friday 26th. On Thursday no collections are possible by couriers as it's a national holiday here in Italy. On the subject of SDS, the company handling this for us, has written to me today, acknowledged more are owed to us (submitted in December and January) and that they are now working on producing the final lot of SDS for us. This includes Plantation, Wild and Jungle ouds that many of you ask about. Next, I have spent the past year (literally) sampling ambrette seed e.o and absolutes from various producers and resellers to no avail. They all smell really poor compared to what I carried. They are too nutty, too fatty, too vegetative, too lacklustre, falling away very fast, and really dont showcase the musky textured qualities of a top ambrette properly. Even the big naturals brands are all obtaining and selling sucky poor man's ambrette at the moment. Written as I have decided to move over to carrying ambrette CO2 and this will be in place until I can find a wow absolute and E.O again. CO2 is still not on par with what I had, but it offers a far better profile on the musky front than the abs and e.os in the market place right now. This CO2 will be in stock by early May. Next, we will put all the non.eu destinations we can supply to, back on our website on May 6th - so U.A.E, UK, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Australia. On the new product front, the next batch of 10 superstars will be released on the 20th May - lots more roses planned. And I will get started on expanding the bulk wholesale side of the business very soon - more aromatics and offered in larger weights as standard - likely upto a kilo on the website. Ok I will write again by Monday. Thank you, Adam : )
19th April at 5pm: Quick update to first say I have now added the following big ticket aromatics to the website: Italian Oakwood Absolute, Organic Georgian Rose Raduga Otto and finally Persian P.E.A Intense Rose (Otto). Orders, as I type with exception to 3 orders, every order placed up until the 11th has left with the couriers. By Monday 22nd, all orders placed up until the 14th will leave with couriers and I will type again across Monday with another update. Bulk Wholesale orders that still need to be manually typed and billed will be done so by Tuesday 23rd. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “This is a highly seductive floral absolute, the initial top note of osmanthus absolute is somewhat fruity and sweet comparable maybe to eating yellow Mirabelle plums late in the summer. However it is the heart note that makes this utterly spectacular as I detect an infusion of sweet juicy apricots, fresh cream and a thick helping of Greek honey. This absolute is truly beautiful, incredibly tenacious and the jewel in the floral absolute crown. Used in high class floral perfumes and bases, blends particularly well with cassie, blue lotus, mimosa, orange blossom, peach CO2. Osmanthus should also be considered as an impact floral-fruit note.”
This absolute is of Chinese origin and is produced by solvent extraction of the fragrant flowers. The colour is golden yellow and it takes approximately 3000 kilos of flowers to produce just one kilo of this osmanthus absolute. We now also offer osmanthus concrete.
Botanical Name: Osmanthus fragrans L
Origin: China
Wholesale weights (all prices excluding vat): 50G = 375 Euros.

It’s really incredible. So tough, deep, with a true floral flavor. It is completely different from the other Osmanthus, which have different consistency and smell. It’s really an experience for me to work with. It is beautiful with other flowers, citrus and balsamic oils. Favourite!

There is a season in the south of China, the city is fragrant with osmanthus flowers.this means good luck and happiness, people want to keep them.We can also make many different snacks with osmanthus. The original essence of Osmanthus makes me feel the taste of my hometown from the smell.

Many of the most intense, fresh and richest scents that nature can offer us come from flowers of white flower – so does from Osmanthus flowers that are so beautiful as well – and we can find a very symbolic meaning of number 4 looking at those “waxy” petals.
It smells so sweet, and so fresh at the same time. I would combine it with Yuzu or even lemon as well as with black or green sacra.
And again – thank you Adam, thank you Eleonora for letting us have such a treasure 🙂

I love the richness of osmanthus absolute and this is a fine specimin, it’s both astringent bitter and sharp and sweet fruity and crisp. Sophistication is its essence for me, the tanned leather tea and sparkling Apricot champagne qualities of this treasure make it invaluable for creating chic, elegant, classic and also fairly unusual fragrances. Not to be missed!

Very fruity and rich.

I love Osmanthus precisely because of the fruity-animalic interplay. Sometimes the leather aspect is a bit owerwhelming, but not in this case. It’s just perfect and addictive. At times there is just juicy sweet carefree apricots i can sense and at other just goats that somehow got to play with wax. Most of the time it’s just both perfectly matched together, seasoned with some sparkling – as another reviewer mentioned.

I literally CAN’T STOP wearing this. Can’t stop won’t stop 😉 I made a very basic blend with frankincense and I don’t want to wear anything else right now. Which reminds me, I also need to buy the whole of Hermitage’s frankincense collection bc I’m loving what I have lol. But ok, back to this beauty…when I first smelled it, I actually didn’t think I’d love it. It smelled a little too oily for my novice nose, but after diluting it, I’m just in love with this incredibly eloquent and feminine floral.
Also thank you Hermitage for keeping the supply chain short… your new pricing made this such an easy yes for me as it was an oil I’d been eyeing and so curious to try before! TY!!!

This was my first encounter with osmanthus and now I understand the hype. I think it’s like the oud of florals, floral but fruity, sensual yet innocent, deep but playful. A true beauty, I am very happy, the color too is deep yellow and yellow is a bright happy color to me. I love this absolute. Lasts moderately long, in alcohol not long enough I think to call it a true heart note though I only used three drops in 5ml. In an attar I think it would work wonders and 1 drop or even a luxurious two drops per ml might be my next bet. I can magine pairing it with ouds already though I still have to,, I am slowly sniffing and enjoying my last order, not all at once 🙂 I will try in any case to find the right amount (pure is just wow, lasts about 4-5 hours on my skin. It’s not something that I think men would quickly wear but I would, and will! I also like to wear rose and lotus flower and this osmanthus is beautiful. I will buy more of this beauty soon!

Phenomenal and complex! I can’t really add more to what others have said, the juxtaposition of the beautiful fruity florals with the animalic leatheriness is truly awe-inspiring!

Peaches in honey. The warm embrace of autumn. My favourite!!!!!!!
This osmanthus has a more pronounced bottom line. Animalic, leathery notes that would be very interesting to develop.
Hugs, Medea and Anton.
