Adam Michael has this to say “In comparison with the American material, this English peppermint exudes a more gentle, softer, well rounded and more enjoyable peppermint aroma. Extracted by steam distillation of the fresh or partly dried flowering tops. Wonderful in foot-baths because of its fungicidal properties, use only a couple of drops since peppermint can make the skin tingle. Refreshing and stimulating, the digestive qualities of this peppermint essential oil are widely appreciated.”
Botanical Name: Mentha piperita
Origin: England, Mitcham

Before purchasing this oil, I only had Indian and American peppermint oils. English peppermint oil pleasantly surprised me with its softness (despite the general medical nature of the smell), sophistication. This is the best choice for green accords, marine and forest compositions.
Plus, peppermint oil has many uses in cooking. I use it to flavor tea and baked goods.
Highly recommend!

This is the minty bit I get in some patchouli oils, if you dilute it by a lot you will even say wow, did some fresh patchouli get in there ? Hope this is not removed soon from the catalogue as I’m not a fan of the spearmint I tried.
