If I get time I will also get the Tea-plantation Kenyan Rose scented Geranium E.O released as well. Also, I am waiting on delivery now of Cis 3 Hexanol N.I and as soon as it arrives it will be put back into stock.
Another priority job now is addressing the new SDS process and from Wednesday, I am going to spend an hour every evening on this task. Thanks btw to those who have volunteered to help with the testing phase. I will be in touch with you all nearer the time. Again, once set up properly, SDS will only be available to those who have purchased the product. Exceptions again will be wild oud, extraits, tinctures and resins. America is now switched on until 14th June at 3pm Italy time for this month. If the workload situation gets out of hand, all other countries will be put on pause. Written as the USA is a unique client – accounting for nearly half of our workload. Normally not an issue but due to circumstances I am without Eleonora and admit that I struggle running Hermitage alone. Lead-time currently stands at 8-10 working days. Thank you, Adam : )
Adam Michael has this to say “This material is produced by fractionation which means in this instance that the essential oil (steam distilled from the wood) is rectified by running it through a fractionating column. The fractions are collected and a selection of the woody, leathery, floral and ambery fractions are put together to create this material.
Cedarwood heart essential oil has lactonic and balsamic character with a slightly fruity liquorish dry down. Adds volume and elegance to woody accords and masculine creations. Useful for building Oriental bases, improving ambery notes and blends well with floral notes such as jasmine, lavender and violet. This material is 10 year aged at the time of writing (12/06/21).”

I love this Cedarwood Heart. To my nose, it is a little lighter and softer in character than your typical cedarwood. Perfect when you want to bring some cedar to your creations, but don’t want that typical broad depth or overpowering woody note.
