Adam Michael has this to say “Cinnamon bark essential oil, structurally this material is much brighter, diffusive toppy and sparkling than many of the French corporate sourced offerings. The brightness, the sweetness, even the cleanliness coming from this material is insane, off the charts in fact, and utterly enchanting all at the same time. The waiting times are zero here, there is nothing sluggish about this aromatic, it opens up fast with big massive plumes of sweet spiced warm cinnamon, balanced out with harmonious powdery woody aspects. As we move to the main body of this cinnamon, the profile, aside from the above, also displays prominent nutmeg character, reminiscent to me of eating my mum’s homemade nutmeg rice pudding as a little boy. As she would cook this dish, the kitchen would be flooded out with lots of warm spice, milky rice, woody, saturating nutty aspects, all displayed here within this essential oil no less and finished to my nose with a dash of dreamy oakwood honey. Utterly WOW.
The dry-down here is chiefly a sweet, dry, soft, spiced powdery affair, and still exuding a wonderful clean brightness. Simply the best cinnamon bark essential oil I have personally encountered, wonderfully balanced throughout, improved staying power, and its big selling point is the fact that this is ultra toppy by comparison with what is available elsewhere online and it is also of a water yellow colour. My compliments to the producer as what we have her is arguably of a superior profile to that captured in both absolute and CO2 form. This is well worthy of the Super Premium title. Produced by the traditional method of hydro distillation, the broken quills, quilling’s, inner bark from twigs as well as the twisted shoots are all distilled.”

If you think this is going to smell like the cinnamon brooms sold at Trader Joe’s in the USA every autumn, this is not that. The secret of this cinnamon lies in its ability to create a round, spiced hum or aura around you, sort of how sandalwood does it but with a particular warmth and spice. Warm but also cool at the same time. Awesome with Honey Signature. Awesome with Landanum. Awesome with Oud. Needs a little time warming up on the skin to bloom into its full potential.

I have smelt various cinnamon oils in the past. This is far superior than anything I have come across. I will attempt to explain why. Smelling this oil is like biting into the cinnamon sticks they use fresh from the tree in some traditional Indian dishes that I have had the pleasure of tasting in villages in India where these trees are grown. This cinnamon oil is warm, spicy, full-bodied and has layers upon lawyer to it. Beautiful – what a find.

It is hard to believe this is essential oil, it has all of the smoothness and warmth of CO2.
Just visualize a cinnamon stick wrapped in a velvet glove, utterly scrumptious
