Do not expect the brilliant smell of the ylang absolute. Here, we are talking about a heart-floralizer that “reminds” of Ylang. However, I paired it with a few floral absolutes and natural animalic scents (natural musk & ambergris), results : brilliant !

Having tried every available Ylang that Hermitageoils offers, this one is easily the most clean and pleasant smelling one to me. No hints of the “rotten” notes that present especially stronlgy in Ylang Extra, and still noticeable in Ylang Complete and Abs., this Lisylang is simply beautifully clean and creamy.
The only thing it loses out on to the other Ylang fractions/versions, in my view, is the complexity of the top note. Ylang Extra has a beautifully high top note that this one sadly cannot match. But in terms of overall “clean Ylang” scent this one takes the crown for me without a doubt. 10/10
