Adam Michael has this to say “This mimosa olessence flowers is produced by low temperature extraction on natural nerolidol in order to obtain the most genuine floral odour. Colourless, of a pourable water like viscosity and produced from the leaves and flowers. The aroma is delicate, fresh, yellow floral, has a potent anisic note, is less herbal than the traditional mimosa absolute and much truer to the flowers when compared with the absolute.
I find mimosa olessence flowers oil to be very useful for creating apple notes, candy creations, fresh floral bouquets. Generally a good modifier in floral, fruity, and even Oriental creations, imparting anise sweetness and fresh floral qualities in abundance.”
Botanical Name: Acacia dealbata
Origin: India

I have a huge love for the little yellow pom pom flowers of the Mimosa/Acacia tree and their delightful colour in early Spring in the UK. This particular offering smells exactly like standing under a particularly fine specimen of the tree near where I live. Kind of a honey / rooibos tea / creamy delicate pineapple. I can almost hear the bees & insects happily buzzing away at their early feast from here! I wish I could drink the nectar with them!

If you are beginner in parfumery i think this Mimosa oil should be on ur list. Soft and floral smell. Compering with other places where I tried Mimosa – good price and quality ratio.

Ha, Sarah J, when I lived in France, I used to call this the pom-pom tree because I had no idea what it was back then. I adore the sight of Mimosa and I adore the odour which, I find becomes almost edible, the more one smells it on the skin. Whilst producing fragrances and knowing that there was a soft, seductive presence missing, Mimosa has oft been a go to oil to velvetise the blend

Absolute heaven. A perfectly soft and unobtrusive floral essence that pairs beautifully with citruses (grapefruit in particular), lavender, jasmine, and anything that needs a softness added to round out an accord. I love the olessence even more than the absolute. Words that come to mind are “fuzzy, powdery, sparkling, yellow, pink”. I underestimated this before I opened it. I’ll always keep it in my arsenal!

Delicate, with a soft floral touch and a very airy beginning.
Immediately – a sea of ideas! The most realistic mimosa I’ve come across.
Hugs, Medea and Anton.

This mimosa is like a cool breeze on a summer evening. Delicate and soft, very floral and very close to the actual smell of mimosa.
Diffused with a bit of vanilla, it’s pure happiness…
