Sarawak Pepper CO2

Adam Michael has this to say “Sarawak pepper is native of the Malaysian portion of Borneo and has a very distinctive aroma.

Softer and smoother than a regular black pepper in its top notes, this material displays dusty-woody, lightly fruity-floral features and can add a more fleeting and refined pepperiness to compositions where the harsher edges of regular black pepper essential oil are not desired.

Being a total CO2 extract this material contains alcohol insoluble compounds, and is soluble in carrier oils only. Very good for oil based and solid perfumes. Diluted down in a carrier oil it makes a very effective massage for treating fatigued and aching muscles.”

Botanical name: Piper nigrum

Origin: Malaysia
