Adam Michael has this to say “English grown yarrow oil is ink blue in colour and packed with chamazulene which is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. The aroma is full of herbaceous floral character, reminiscent to smelling German chamomile with sweet butter qualities.
Yarrow is steeped in a wonderful history and apparently even the Greek warrior Achilles is said have used yarrow to stop his wounds from bleeding. Yarrow is produced by steam distillation of the flowering tops, the colour is ink blue and this material is of a pourable viscosity.
Useful for building green florals, herbaceous floral bouquets and developing creamy gourmand notes.”
Botanical Name: Achillea millefolium
Origin: England

Definitely smell yarrow upon opening this! Wonderful! Yarrow has always reminded me of a whole black tea leaf I get from my chiropractor. Yarrow blue will leave this specific black tea leaf flavor in my mucous membranes. Delightful. Very herbaceous, like walking in a field of wild plants on a hot summer day after it rains. Very warm and inviting.
Blends beautifully for anti inflammatory and pain mixes. Thank you!

Strong blue color and strong regenerative and soothing effect. One of the most ancient use is in healing the skin. Will be the right choice for mature or sensitive skin
