Marjoram Sweet Leaf CO2 (SELECT)

Adam Michael has this to say ” This marjoram leaf CO2 (Origanum majorana) aka sweet marjoram is a woody perennial herb growing to 50cm with aromatic oval leaves and pinkish-white flowers, it takes an average of 55 kilos of raw material to produce 1 kilo of this Turkish grown stunner. The smell of this CO2 is outstanding, fresh, earthy green, sweet with a slight woody, pine and peppery nuance. So good, so absolutely world class, that we have now officially stopped offering marjoram essential oils.

Along with wild marjoram which is a bit of a nomenclature nightmare you find both are cultivated for their aerial parts and their essential oils. Marjoram leaf CO2 is considered as a highly valuable stimulant and antispasmodic. It can help relieve anxiety and headaches, and is useful for flatulence, colic and respiratory problems and has a stronger effect on the nervous system than wild marjoram.”
