23rd April at 4.10pm: Unfortunately, regarding the message below and lead-times, I called it wrong. My apologies. As such all orders placed upto the 15th - and about half of those placed on the 16th, will leave by Friday 26th. On Thursday no collections are possible by couriers as it's a national holiday here in Italy. On the subject of SDS, the company handling this for us, has written to me today, acknowledged more are owed to us (submitted in December and January) and that they are now working on producing the final lot of SDS for us. This includes Plantation, Wild and Jungle ouds that many of you ask about. Next, I have spent the past year (literally) sampling ambrette seed e.o and absolutes from various producers and resellers to no avail. They all smell really poor compared to what I carried. They are too nutty, too fatty, too vegetative, too lacklustre, falling away very fast, and really dont showcase the musky textured qualities of a top ambrette properly. Even the big naturals brands are all obtaining and selling sucky poor man's ambrette at the moment. Written as I have decided to move over to carrying ambrette CO2 and this will be in place until I can find a wow absolute and E.O again. CO2 is still not on par with what I had, but it offers a far better profile on the musky front than the abs and e.os in the market place right now. This CO2 will be in stock by early May. Next, we will put all the non.eu destinations we can supply to, back on our website on May 6th - so U.A.E, UK, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Australia. On the new product front, the next batch of 10 superstars will be released on the 20th May - lots more roses planned. And I will get started on expanding the bulk wholesale side of the business very soon - more aromatics and offered in larger weights as standard - likely upto a kilo on the website. Ok I will write again by Monday. Thank you, Adam : )
19th April at 5pm: Quick update to first say I have now added the following big ticket aromatics to the website: Italian Oakwood Absolute, Organic Georgian Rose Raduga Otto and finally Persian P.E.A Intense Rose (Otto). Orders, as I type with exception to 3 orders, every order placed up until the 11th has left with the couriers. By Monday 22nd, all orders placed up until the 14th will leave with couriers and I will type again across Monday with another update. Bulk Wholesale orders that still need to be manually typed and billed will be done so by Tuesday 23rd. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “The initial smell makes me think of picking a ripe apricot from the tree and holding the fruit close to my nose. You will be aware the fruit has a velvety texture about it and somehow that is captured within the opening notes of this material. The development is of a mature nature, quite warm, with a pleasant fresh green softness, earthy qualities, very fruity and sticky throughout, with a peach, honey and orange juice character. Blends especially well with honey, beeswax, osmanthus and orange flower absolutes. This is marvellous in honey-sweet florals and gives a mouth-watering super juicy twist to other fruit notes. The colour is golden yellow and it is of a gloopy but pourable viscosity.”
This is a masterpiece material from a highly esteemed Grasse based producer. Whilst the exact recipe so to speak is proprietary information this Apricot Liquid 100% is an all-natural compound creation.
Wholesale weights (all prices excluding vat): 100G = 40 Euros.

When I first sniffed this Apricot Liquid I could not stop thinking that if there was a way to bottle an autumn’s sunset it would smell exactly like this. I’m not much of a fan of eating the actual fruit, but, oh boy, does it smell wonderful or what?
This material has everything you would expect from the Mediterranean aesthetics: a honeyed body, fleeting green sparks, flowery delicacies jumping at your nose in unseen twists and all the colours you could expect to find in the dying hours of a perfect day.
As a working ingredient, it enhances white flowers adding a sour-ish edge most of them lack, helps to create yummy blends with green herbs, fine-tune honey accords to perfection. My favorite experience, though, was mixing it with Oakmoss for the greatest ever dark/light experience.

Really good apricot/peached juicy, fresh, and light material. Very strong, be carful as only few drops needed, which is the case with most “liquid” products.

A sweet diffusive peachy powerful top note. Apricot liquid captures the essence of the juicy ripe fruit even better than the fruit itself! Use less than you think you need as I find it tends to dominate a composition quite easily. Reminds me of peach schnapps. Lovely stuff, very feminine.

A better smell than the fruit itself, a wonderful thing just buy it right now.

It smells so incredibly juicy it makes you want to take a bite out of this succulent liquid. It has fuzzy facets to it, you can imagine a gorgeous stone fruit in your hand, orange droplets sluicing through your palm on a summer’s day as you take another hungry bite. To me, it reminds me more of a big peach, the kind you get towards the end of summer. I used it frequently with iris, lemon and other citruses, as well as tea, but works well with skankier notes too like hyrax or civet.

There is no doubt that the Apricot liquid is star in it’s own right but…..gently does it. I have found that making it the star of the show in a blend can produce a sweetness beyond une tarte aux abricots!! With care and respect this ingredient in a fragrance leads sharp citruses to a softer place and light florals find a deeper tone. Experimenting with Apricot is a gorgeous adventure.

It’s like sitting on a terrace at home at a sea shore. Breakfast time. A bowl of apricots on a table and you take one of them and give a slow bite – juice is running down your chin and you never want to clean it – it smells so so so good. You cheer, you go with your tongue around your lips and you want to get another apricot – it’s so refreshing in a sunny day…
On it’s dry down this apricot liquid reveals a hint of osmanthus flowers and a wonderful slight bitterness of petitgrain bergamotier leaves.
Fruity, juicy magic in a bottle ! Go for it !

Sets off with a sweet tone of citrus and some berriness. Not really what I associate with apricot. Slowly it evolves into a careful sweet and warm scent of berries and juicy fruit. Only later on, after an hour or so, there is a definitive apricot association. Sweet and very nice. Still fairly mellow. In comparison the Apple Liquid, also found here, is much more direct and both jucier and more clear in its scent. I cant use this apricot for a top note, but rather as a part of the heart note, where it does its best work in adding a little atmosphere of fruity sweetness.
