17th April at 2.15pm: Quick update to say all orders placed on the 9th have been collected just now by DHL. Orders placed on the 10th and 11th will all leave by the 19th. I will type again on Friday regarding orders placed from the 12th onwards. Other news, by Friday I am releasing a few more very big ticket rarities including our Italian Oakwood Absolute and a super grail rose otto. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )
Adam Michael has this to say “Blue/German chamomile essential oil contains more of the prized constituent of chamazulene than chamomile roman and is renowned for its soothing and anti-inflammatory actions. Very useful for treating abrasions, dermatitis and valuable in treating any condition where there is inflammation present, whether internal or external. It can be used in hot compresses on boils, abscesses, infected cuts, splinters and on tooth abscesses until the sufferer can get to a dentist.
Blue chamomile essential oil compresses over the affected area should be used for internal inflammatory conditions, particularly of the digestive tract, such as colitis, gastritis and diarrhea, especially if the latter is chronic. Tension and anxiety are often at the root of these conditions, and blue chamomile has a profoundly calming effect on the emotional level. The properties and uses of blue chamomile essential oil often overlap with those of lavender, and if you need to decide whether to use lavender or blue chamomile in any particular situation, it may be useful to remember that blue chamomile is generally better for dull aches and pains, while lavender may be better for a pain that is sharp and piercing. Produced by steam distilling the flowers of Matricaria chamomilla, deep ink blue in colour and of a pourable viscosity.”

I’m in love with it’s color and herbaceous aroma. Perfect to settle the emotions and skin disorders.

I am Andalusian, and this sweet and dry smell, in the line of hay, helichrysum and cistus, takes me to the Mediterranean summers, when as a child we were not afraid to enter the paths of the fields at the burning hours of the siesta. Oh, and already in maturity the smell of those infusions that sought to leave us a little peace and calm.

A very interesting smell in my view. I see fellow reviewer Juan P denoting similarities to hay, but for me I do not get any dry notes from this material at all. It smells almost in the line of subtly waxy, with some sweetness and herbaceousness underneath. To me personally this smells characteristically like I imagine the color blue would smell like – soft and round, yet also deep at the same time.
