Adam Michael has this to say “The opening notes of this chamomile CO2 are herbaceous rich, chamomile floral and somewhat fig biscuit like. The heart and base notes are full of rich chamomile floral, warm hay, sweet tobacco and herbaceous character. Olive green in colour, of a pourable viscosity and a very useful material for the therapist.
An obvious choice for herbal blends and green accords, green-florals, and a helpful accent for deep coniferous blends.”
Botanical Name: Matricaria recutita

Fig on the opening sniff, especially if undiluted, so good. A dream come true chamomile, so warm and welcoming, soothing and relaxing. Best chamomile ever (for me), since I was searching for a sweet chamomile tea experience. I detect no bitter herbaceous notes, just the fragrant chamomile flower summery notes, very cheerful and rich, saturating aroma. Lovely colour, as well. I hope it will be available forever.

What a pleasing material, so true to the flower smell, less herbaceous, think of a field of full blossoming Chamomile or freshly picked ones. That’s the scent I’m getting and it’s a strong one, drydown is bit more herbal, notes of hay and I’m also detecting that barn scent, but just a tad bit. Try it in combination with honey or saffron, even Ylang Ylang absolute, but be aware, as mentioned it’s quite strong so you’ll need diluting it or else it will overpower everything else, at least in the opening notes.

Green apples, apples and chamomile flowers, cut grass, a meadow of daisies, a summer’s day with apples resting on damp straw and the softly fermenting apples on the orchard grass are warming in the sun. Soon, the earthy dense aroma of apple pulp stewing on the stove rises.
A glorious smooth fruity and full-bodied Blue Chamomile; soothing and calming with its sweet herbal warmth and melodious summer magic.

A material I bought on a whim to learn and explore with – what a material this is! Adam is spot on here, aside from the obvious chamomile note, my immediate thought upon first sniff was indeed a fig roll mixed with a herbal tobacco and bundles of hay. It’s an inspiring and flexible material that I look forward to compounding with.
