25th March at 13.10pm: Apologies but my health has gone backwards rapidly in the past few days. After a conversation with Eleonora, at this moment running Hermitage is too much for us. Therefore the countries have all been temporarily removed and no orders can be placed. Please note orders received upto the time of this message will all be dispatched by today. Earlier messages now deleted from the orange banner but note I hope by mid to late next week I can get involved again with the business and reopen the website to E.U countries. New product releases, I have written content for five new aromatics and the plan was, and still is, to get to ten, and release them all in one lot. This will happen across early April. At the sametime the lab is finished, we have set up and we will get staff employed. Written as my own objective this year for the business remains the same, that being to end the stop start and get Hermitage in a position whereby it continues to flourish with or without my daily involvement. Thank you, Adam : | PS - We will reply to emails we may receive upon our return.

Adam Michael has this to say “This CO2 captures the aroma of the carterii species in its truest and purest form. It contains 12% of incensole acetate which contributes greatly to the warm, dreamy, incense like qualities found in abundance within this material. The aroma also exudes sticky, slightly powdery, ambery sweet, Oriental and very masculine qualities throughout. A material with deeply calming properties, helps regulate breathing and when added to carrier oils is useful for banishing blemishes and improving tired looking skin.”
Botanical Name: Boswellia carterii

This Frankincense is special – I have many of Hermitage’s Franks and many other brands as it’s one of my all time favourite scents (not sure if I’m so drawn to this family of oils because my maiden name was Franklin and with this particular oil you know it makes Franklincense!). This one to me is sophisticated – it is complex like the Dalzielli and Super but it has a delicateness straight from the bottle, almost more lunar, very dreamy, airy, very rounded and soft, it is gently warming but in a cool way, for those Frankincense moods where you need gentle lushous drink of calm – but without the first punch to over alert the senses that I seem to get with other Frankincense oils. I’ve been using this oil on it’s own a lot recently as it’s a great emotionally supporting oil. This is great on a pillow, with a waft of breeze from an open window and the neighbours honeysuckle blossoms as you drift off to sleep.

I like Sarah’s review! It is spot on from an emotional stand point.
This is light , but don’t be fooled, it is complex. It has citrus top – bot nothing piercing or metallic, just a hint of dry peel. It has pine woods but I the same way as if you are there, the smell is in the distance.
This has holy church incense that lifts and becomes stronger in the dry down.
This has the breeze- the cool warmth that Sarah mentions, I feel the heat on the exhale , the coolness on the inhale. This is a low , close to the skin scent, nothing overwhelming or offensive,, very subtle. I think this would anchor nicely, but I could see this solo, it has a deep presence that is calming, majestic, nourishing and compelling. The world has me down, but I am a little better after bringing this one out! A healing oil…
