17th April at 2.15pm: Quick update to say all orders placed on the 9th have been collected just now by DHL. Orders placed on the 10th and 11th will all leave by the 19th. I will type again on Friday regarding orders placed from the 12th onwards. Other news, by Friday I am releasing a few more very big ticket rarities including our Italian Oakwood Absolute and a super grail rose otto. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma is rosewood watery refreshing, floral, with delicate woody nuances and finishing with a dash of soft lemony goodness. A useful material to extend and enhance fruity top notes and imparts natural freshness in citrus, floral and woody accords. Although linalool is found in many essential oils the two main sources are rosewood and ho oil – both consisting of at least 80% linalool. This natural isolate is obtained by rectification from ho oil (Cinnamomum camphora Nees et Ebern).”
Mark Evans has this to say “This natural, racemic linalool is incredibly useful in perfumery to add a natural, fresh, bright aspect to the top note of colognes, fougeres, aromatics, actually pretty much any perfume style. Linalool is one of those materials that is ubiquitous in perfumery, across all styles and genres. The scent is lemon green fresh, woody and a little floral. It reminds me strongly of coriander seed which is strange as this has not been extracted from coriander at all. Then I realised that coriander has a high percentage of linalool as well. So it’s actually coriander seed that smells of this linalool rather than the other way around. Linalool is also a major part of rosewood and lavender oils.”
Extracted from ho-sho essential oil.

Almost a perfect Bois de Rose ! However, be careful, kids ! This one is a powerhorse, and you should dilute it to 10% or even less. Yet a beautiful aromatic essence, definitely fresh and elegant.

Very useful material and great value if you are looking for natural-derived lianalool, but it does retain a very, very slight facet of the original ho oil that makes the overall oil less graceful than Bois de Rose or Magnolia (both significant sources of linalool).
