Potato Pyrazine Natural 0.1% in TEC

Adam Michael has this to say “This potato pyrazine natural (2,3,5 Trimethylpyrazine natural)  is a bombastic powerhouse in pure form. As such this beastly natural aromatic is offered by us at 0.1% diluted in TEC (also natural).

Applied to the strip, the opening aroma is dark chocolate and candy orange themed, reminding me of the taste of Jaffa Cakes, Terrys Orange and the smell of Orange flavoured Matchmakers by Nestle.

This follows with the aroma of slightly burnt chocolate sponge, cocoa powders, salted peanuts, hazelnut spread, grated walnuts and a trace musty aspect that reminds me of decaying foliage. As time progresses, and tangled within the chocolate-orange themes, I find potato skin tonalities in the same form as those found in genuine North Indian Wild Green Khus (Vetiver). To my nose this potato quality is that of tilled soils, charred woods, vegetative – peeled potato skin through to rooty orientated.

Potato Pyrazine Natural is a must for gourmand creations, pairs like a dream with cocoa aromatics, provides warmth to green accords and improves diffusion of woody base notes. Highly recommended BUT remember as a general rule with these powerhouse pyrazines – less is always more.”
