Sandalwood E.O Indian Legends Trilogy – Part Two

October 22nd: This is just a little note to say thank you to those who purchased Indian Legends Trilogy Part 2. Admittedly it was mostly large buyers who have pounced on this one as all of the stock sold out in under a day. In fact 1ml through to 50G offerings sold out inside the first hour. However I didn’t have anywhere near as much of this sandalwood as I do of Indian Legends Trilogy Part 1 (now low at time of typing). I hope those who have purchased this sandalwood will love this as much as I do, compliments to the producer on a work of art, and the final instalment in this trilogy of sandalwoods will be released at 9pm Italy time on Christmas night. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “As I type today is October 19th 2024, the day Indian Legends Trilogy Part 2 is released.

The opening is brightness, power, beauty and a sandalwood that once again pushes into new aromatic territories. Because this opening isn’t just sandal-woody but it’s also in part floral, even showcasing exotic fruit plumes better associated in high-end Wild ouds. The woody components here are yes – creamy indulgent sandalwood, with real oomph and richness, all entwined with cedar, oud and storax and incense esq qualities. This is a super bright intense masculine god-like opening. So impressive and my own definition of what a truly top-tier sandalwood of old is all about.

The creamy components broken down are buttery woody antique goodness (super smooth) through to woody incense-floral infused tonalities and finishing with creamy powdery effects.

I must add Indian Legends Part 2 is an aromatic that demonstrates its shift-shaping abilities across the first few hours of being applied to the strip, on skin or inhaled from the bottle. Because the profile is forever morphing and developing.

Personally, after the three hours mark on the strip, I feel this aromatic starts to settle into a bright smooth slightly buttery woody melody that plays on repeat for the next few hours. When we approach hour 5 however, this sandalwood displays (at least for me) a lemony hue of excellent clarity that sits perfectly with the woody sandalwood components and is finished with some peppery warmth and exotic fruits.

And then as that curtain comes down on the development front within 11 to 12 hours, Legends Part 2 morphs into the final act, this being all out buttery goodness, with musky, cedar, and soft sandalwood nuances sitting underneath.

All in all, everything here is truly sublime, and this sandalwood absolutely deserves its place in my Indian Legends Trilogy. (Part 3 will be released on Christmas night 2024)

Produced by a former employee of the business behind my 2019 release of Sandalwood India Gold SP CO2. This chap has his own ideas and has gone on to start up on his own. Santalols content combined comes in at 77%, produced from legally sourced logs of which are estimated to be at least 80 years of age. Colour, fire yellow-orange and of a slightly thick but pourable consistency. And at the risk of sounding like a broken-record, as for uses, sandalwood can be everyone’s best friend.”
