The aroma profile is delightful, the vanilla qualities lean in a grown up direction – so not overly sweet, nor cloying and somewhat reminiscent of vanillin bourbon CO2 with a guaiac woody character throughout. As such it comes as no surprise that this vanitrope is outstanding within woody-gourmands and pairs spectacularly well with guaiac wood. Also a must for bolstering vanilla compositions.
Vanitrope is a white powder that dilutes straight into alcohol at 5% with a little patience. This also dilutes at 10% in both DPG and TEC with bain-marie and after which also goes easily into alcohol. We offer this for sale in a 10% TEC dilution as well as a 50G wholesale option – provided in pure white powder form.”
Obtained from clove leaf essential oil.

A light woody freshness, a pleasant sweetness, a little bit of anise or violet, and a lot of vanilla balsam.
IFRA says only 0.99%, but that’s enough.
A bit cleaner and gentler than vanillin but also more potent.
