Adam Michael has this to say “What we have here is a distilled offering of Yuzu essential oil. This is a little more muted compared to the cold pressed offerings in aroma profile. The upside, for perfumers and aromatherapists at least, is that this is clear in colour, contains less furocoumarines, is safer on skin, contains less waxes, has a longer shelf life and improved solubility in alcohol. Also whilst this does not have the powerful top note compared to expressed material, it arguably has the more beautiful body, softer, more rounded on the senses, with zero harsh aspects. Also the profile seems to be more fruity orientated, exuding an extremely dewy, juicy, fresh fruity yuzu character throughout.
Generally this is a a very versatile material, and provides an elegant and refreshing effect within fruity, floral and woody compositions. Also blends well with lavenders, roses, neroli, jasmine, vetivers, sandalwood and pairs like a marriage made in heaven with bergamot.”

More similar to the older cold pressed variant with the yellow picture than the green signature gold, as this yuzu oil is one of the more well balanced ones, where nothing sticks out too much & is rather a harmonious unity :
Juicy, zesty mandarin sweetness, fresh & sour lime (but much less than the signature gold), drying down into green peel notes (clean not leafy) with a slight bitter touch. So overall a classic yuzu of great quality, has that depth & isn‘t as pale as other suppliers Yuzus.
So juicy, so yummy, just so yuzu. Best citrus fruit on planet earth. 🧡

Very complex, First word I’d describe it as smelling a freshly printed library book for the first time or being in the sports section of store with that rubbery smel like basketballs. Its strange right?? But I really like it! It’s very nostalgic for me, Smell of fresh peels, woody (think book paper), and even a hint of white florals. Great buy! Oh and am getting a hint of green tea as well 🙂
