Adam Michael has this to say “Aromatically this maybe the very best specialty lavender organic essential oil we offer as I think it far surpasses both French and English material. Yes I am staggered to be writing like this. However this Italian lavender essential oil is quite simply pure perfection, smoother, exquisitely rounded, no harsh aspects at all within its development, forever fragrant, calming. In fact this material truly captures and embodies the very essence of walking within a field of lavender, on a warm Summer afternoon and switching off from all the stresses life can bring with it.
Take off the cap and you quickly realise how rich and deep this Italian lavender organic essential oil is, bursting with a fulsome lavender fragrance, the herbal and woody nuances are present as are the hay and coumarin undertones. Everything in this aromatic is more alive, richer, more colourful, deeper and longer lasting and the buttery qualities are dreamy. The most perfect lavender aromatic I have ever experienced to date along with French A.O.C, and recommended highly by me to therapists and perfumers.”

Creamy and buttery, this lavender oil is soft and has no sharp top notes, smells very close to lavender absolute and will add a beautiful touch to classic colognes or to support a clean floral heart of perfume The oil will blend perfectly with clary sage absolute.

I had been searching for a long time for a non-camphorous lavender EO and finally found this one! It’s beautiful, a round, calming lavender (without the sharp “lift” of so many lavender essential oils). I’ve been converted to Italian lavender 🙂

So different from any other lavender i ever smell..soft but not weak, creamy and smooth almost like i detect a huge field of lavender in a bottle..there is a deep sweetness at the bottom of the essence that i cannot detect if its Lipton tea or peach notes i get..excellent oil!!

I was surprised out just how different this lavender is compared to what I expected. Very lovely, and surprisingly creamy, yet still clearly lavender.

Definitely the softest (yet still rich) lavender I have smelt. It’s beautiful and balanced. Not as sharp on the herbaceous notes – which is my personal preference. You can always mix it with patchouli if you need to kick it up a notch. Love it!

This is a very high-class material. It allows you to use lavender in combinations and concentrations that would be unthinkable even with the A.O.C lavender (which I also love).
Pretty much all lavender introduces a somewhat old-man note as it dries down. This material does not bring that guy to the party at all. It provides a very modern way to use lavender without the composition feeling dated or fusty.

Such a smooth, creamy. non-biting lavender, like a big purple pillow!
I use this as the backbone to my lavender note, which is very smooth and full-bodied.

I love all Adam’s lavenders..really. This Tuscany organic too..I close my eyes and smell lavender, salvia, clary sage..simply all these heavenly herbal gifts. There are also coumarins from Lavender absolute and sweetness of the French AOC, which I love so much!.Tuscany is definitely one of those tops that will be a favorite for me. And Lavender CO2 also – so soft and romantic that I can feel the subtle power of Melissa true in it…really, totally romantic sweetheart! You will love her.
