Madagascan Harami 20% Tincture (6 YEARS AGED)
Adam Michael has this to say “Let me start by stating this smells absolutely thirst quenching-delicious.
What we have here is a tinctured top note bonanza, made by me six years ago back in 2018 from our Madagascan wild crafted elemi resin. And for the record, the party taking place here is a top note tincture, and on another level of legendary compared with the actual essential oil of elemi itself – which is also gorgeous and massively underrated.
You see here, with this tincture, you are greeted with refreshing smelling smashed pink peppercorns, juiced candy vibe limes, hits of powdery incense that I have encountered in some of the finest Thai wild ouds the world ever afforded us, waves of Sultani deep green top-of the-pops grade frankincenses (most of which ends up in the hands of the Saudi Royal family btw), add to this some super charged candied lemons better associated with smelling serrata resins, green wine-gum esq bergamots, honeyed linden blossoms and finish it all off with some trace musk tonalities and petitgrain-bergamotier woody nuances, and bam, you have one of the most incredible top note aromatic melodies to behold.
But here is the compromise – as a standalone tincture, and being a bonafide top note, on my skin type, I get just over an hour of optimal performance, and then the party fades out. But what a party it was, a party for the ages, one whereby everyone lost all sense of inhibitions and had the greatest god damn night of their life. You see for me, this profile fully understands, embodies and showcases the true definition of what a “fresh” scent is. It feels alive, untamed and so incredibly beautiful to watch unfold. Yes its a tincture, but its a really special one and I highly recommend this to everybody.”
Arctander has this to say “This is a very interesting fixative for artificial bergamot, lemon, lime, etc., as well as for the various verbena compositions, e.g. eau de verveine bases and other cologne types. In lavender colognes, fougeres, spicy colognes, etc., it simultaneously introduces freshness and fixation.”
