Adam Michael has this to say “This Orris CO2 has a 1% content of irones and the opening is more soft and delicate in comparison to the very popular absolute we offer. With time the aroma blossoms into a fulsome green, wet, floral masterpiece with soft musk and wood like nuances dancing together in the background.
This material is dark yellow in colour, produced from the roots and of a water wax consistency. A very useful material for those building rose bases, violet bases and chypre accords.”

One of the most root-like irises I have worked with thus far. It opens with a peppery woody iris, we’re deep down next to the rhizome. When combined with other materials, it becomes a bit more buttery and rounds out the composition. I like using it with aldehyde c-14 and the apricot liquid.
