Adam Michael has this to say “Produced by steam distillation of the dried roots and then subjected to deterpenation and further refining via molecular distillation. The aroma of this vetiver is largely of a rich woody and smooth character with balsamic and earthy nuances, a sweet dry out and all of exceptional tenacity and shelf life.
This material has little to none of the grassy, raw and heavy aspects you may associate with vetiver essential oils regardless of origin. Light yellow in colour, of a pourable viscosity, and a useful modifier for compositions of a woody, floral and oriental nature.”
We have now created our own vetiver collection page.
Botanical Name: Vetiveria zizanioides
Origin: Thailand

Wow If I didn’t know this was vetiver I wouldn’t know it was vetiver!!
Completely different to the Bourbon, Java and Organic vetivers I have. Light, sweet, smooth with non of the dark, rooty earthiness I love in Vetiver. However, I still really like it. I use my oils to blend together and use myself as ‘perfume’ or add to oils for moisturiser. I would mix this with Ylang, Rose, Jasmine Sambac or Lavender I think to create a really floral blend.

My favorite vetiver because although i have all the collection of hermitage store and for sure many are truly 10 star quality from the profile they carried and origin..this gem is so unique..i can detect a sweet flowery dust of unexplained beauty ..I’m amazed and confused..a must have gem. Thank you Adam for the opportunity to experience another amazing oil
