17th April at 2.15pm: Quick update to say all orders placed on the 9th have been collected just now by DHL. Orders placed on the 10th and 11th will all leave by the 19th. I will type again on Friday regarding orders placed from the 12th onwards. Other news, by Friday I am releasing a few more very big ticket rarities including our Italian Oakwood Absolute and a super grail rose otto. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “Smelling this Zdravetz CO2 solely from the bottle you are greeted with intense richly charged resinous notes, reminiscent of a walk in a Mediterranean scrub along the shore and heated by the sun. On the strip the smell is very similar whilst also exuding fruit, floral and light green qualities with a noticeable woody eucalyptus note for good measure. Quite quickly the Mediterranean scrub nuances are back and go on to become the spine of this aroma along with soft sweet fruit nuances and deeply suave floral qualities. The dry down is very fruit orientated.
Zdravetz CO2 is aromatically light years in front of the regular essential oil (which is muted by comparison in my humble opinion) and is a very beautiful resinous aroma throughout that can be useful for building frankincense themed church accords, especially those that are serrata based as the fruity notes within the Zradvet bind very well with the zesty aspects of the serrata material. Also of course a must for building Mediterranean forest notes and I am finding use for this material within an experimental orange blossom attar I am building, the floral qualities of both sing in total harmony with each other.”

Rich woody note, somewhat smoky and with an acidic, arnica-like edge. Close kinship with bois des landes and its predecessor, pinewood natural.

I have now obtained some Bulgarian zdravetz for comparison. In the case of this particular sample, a semi-solid mass which bears the label zdravetz, the scent of undergrowth and autumnal bracken which characterises the CO2 product is much less in evidence. The odour is milder and in the direction of ordinary geranium. Muted is right. So the CO2 product is a lot more interesting for perfumery, the only drawback being its lack of miscibility with alcohol.

This smells incredible, rich and sumptuous, floral with the scent of dried sweat on skin after sex. Probably one of my favourite materials to work with after ordering a small sample; I’ll need to get a full bottle soon.

WOW! My goodness this smells good!
Having used Bulgarian steam distilled Zdravetz for skincare serums and natural sun protection, I though I knew it. But no.
After reading Adams description of this particular Co2 version it made me curious, but for one reason or another it never managed to get to me before now. And what a surprise! I honestly can’t understand how it even can be the same plant material as the aromatic qualities are so different. When the steam distilled material I am familiar with has kind of a dryish, woody and almost slightly sour aspect to it, this Zdravetz Co2 is fresher, sweeter, fruitier and much, much brighter.
Oh, what a delight! This Co2 sings! To me it is clarifying, as if opening up the spirit to a new world. And when I have never understood the fuzz about Zdravetz in perfumery before, I now do. Can’t wait to play around with this one.
Thank you so much for illuminating me!

Zdravez – a fields of flowers warmed by the Sun, herbs my grandmother taught me to collect. Yes this is what i can smell after 7 days of persistence of this Zdravez CO2 on the strip – it’s unbelievable how log does it last. Dried medicinal herbs, dried yellow jasmine flowers (gelsemium sempervirens), a hint of honey – all this i can feel when it dries down – and it’s jus Woooowww – so relaxing.
During first hours on a perfumers strip i could even feel a hint of a pleasant smoky note – as if in the morning i could smell already cold fire place odor where in the evening some oak wood was burning while warming a cosy atmosphere.
Absolutely gorgeous – i would love my linen smell like this Zdravez – it reminds me home – sweet home 🙂 🙂 :).
