Skip to contentJoseph Colbourne has this to say “Cedarwood Himalayan is a close relative of Cedrus atlantica and readily apparent in it’s oily, sweet-resinous, balsamic top. However, there is a curious sharpness to deodora which lends an almost blue cheese effect, which on its own, may seem an acquired taste, but when paired with other materials can bring forth surprising synergy. Cedarwood Himalayan essential oil can complement heady florals for more dimension or bring character to a leather accord. Six hours in, the astringency dries down to a ink-like, mellow, dry sweetness that continues to become woodier and drier in its base. Cedarwood Himalayan essential oil is a bold personality and a pleasure to experience.”

I love the cedar wood of the Himalayas .. maybe someone seems to be no different from the cedar atlas, but in my opinion there is a significant difference..the atlas is sharper, more pronounced, I feel there is something majestic copaiba possible, the Himalayas have beautiful sweet depths of the fruit wheel. Atlas a typical male artifact, the Himalayan sweet darling unisex. In any case, both are gems that will make a person happy, peaceful and hearty when brought to him. And amazing aromatherapy effects both!

Lovely cedarwood.
As one might expect, I find this very similar to the Atlas Cedarwood. So much so, that unless I have them side by side, I struggle to differentiate the two!

A real treasure, we can’t imagine life without it! Beautiful scent, sweet, woody, hard to describe – but beautiful 🙂 and a nice price.
