23rd April at 4.10pm: Unfortunately, regarding the message below and lead-times, I called it wrong. My apologies. As such all orders placed upto the 15th - and about half of those placed on the 16th, will leave by Friday 26th. On Thursday no collections are possible by couriers as it's a national holiday here in Italy. On the subject of SDS, the company handling this for us, has written to me today, acknowledged more are owed to us (submitted in December and January) and that they are now working on producing the final lot of SDS for us. This includes Plantation, Wild and Jungle ouds that many of you ask about. Next, I have spent the past year (literally) sampling ambrette seed e.o and absolutes from various producers and resellers to no avail. They all smell really poor compared to what I carried. They are too nutty, too fatty, too vegetative, too lacklustre, falling away very fast, and really dont showcase the musky textured qualities of a top ambrette properly. Even the big naturals brands are all obtaining and selling sucky poor man's ambrette at the moment. Written as I have decided to move over to carrying ambrette CO2 and this will be in place until I can find a wow absolute and E.O again. CO2 is still not on par with what I had, but it offers a far better profile on the musky front than the abs and e.os in the market place right now. This CO2 will be in stock by early May. Next, we will put all the non.eu destinations we can supply to, back on our website on May 6th - so U.A.E, UK, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Australia. On the new product front, the next batch of 10 superstars will be released on the 20th May - lots more roses planned. And I will get started on expanding the bulk wholesale side of the business very soon - more aromatics and offered in larger weights as standard - likely upto a kilo on the website. Ok I will write again by Monday. Thank you, Adam : )
19th April at 5pm: Quick update to first say I have now added the following big ticket aromatics to the website: Italian Oakwood Absolute, Organic Georgian Rose Raduga Otto and finally Persian P.E.A Intense Rose (Otto). Orders, as I type with exception to 3 orders, every order placed up until the 11th has left with the couriers. By Monday 22nd, all orders placed up until the 14th will leave with couriers and I will type again across Monday with another update. Bulk Wholesale orders that still need to be manually typed and billed will be done so by Tuesday 23rd. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )
Adam Michael has this to say “Aromatically this Chinese Jasmine Sambac absolute is a work of aromatic art. I have evaluated this now several times since receiving the sample in early September and literally everything about this aromatic is completely flawless. For me, if I bring my score cards out, this is a 10 out of 10 every single time. I loved our Indian material (no longer offered by us) and it has its place within the perfumer’s palette, but from the viewpoint of an absolute capturing and displaying a true to life experience, then yes, without any hesitation at all, I would choose this Chinese jasmine sambac in a heartbeat. I hold this material in the highest regard and the producer who I perceive as an artist and aromatic genius, has my greatest respect. This is why I am also awarding this aromatic Signature Gold status. Sourced directly from China and from a producer that feeds the worlds most respected naturals conglomerate with this exact product.
From the bottle or applied to the strip, the opening of this aromatic is a mesmerising tidal wave of heavily concentrated jasmine flowers with prominent orange blossom and grassy green tonalities. I also detect a fleeting apple crispness that I associate with magnolia flower e.o and a waxy creaminess that is reminiscent of smelling living gardenia flowers along with a big dose of sweetness.
It takes around 30 minutes before the material settles and when it does, it displays a true accuracy to smelling the living jasmine sambac flowers (which we grow), meaning the green aspects fade into a background note with the fresh breezy jasmine sambac flower character sitting at the top and entwined with the fruity notes that are again orange blossom orientated. As time progresses further it turns into an all out clean fresh and creamy sweet white floral affair that is utterly gorgeous and my definition of total white-floral perfection. The power is supported of course by an indolic through to animalic engine almost but even though it is the fuel that gives this so much power and amplified impact, it only reveals itself as a heavenly joyous floral aesthetic at all times.
On the strip the scent is present at its best for approximately 30 hours and takes in the region of 70 hours before it has completely faded away. On my skin type from a generous single swipe on my forearm I get nearly 9 hours of noticeable wear. Produced by alcohol extraction from the concrete, golden yellow amber in colour, perfectly alcohol soluble and also perfectly oil soluble.
Regarding uses, again like some other florals, I really feel we have a perfume in its own right but this aromatic blends well with other white florals including magnolia, tuberose, gardenia and ylang ylang. Sits beautifully as a heart note within compositions that contain sandalwood, patchouli, benzoins, and Siam wood in the base. A must for neroli, orange blossom and true to life jasmine accords, especially those who want the power and radiance without relying on synthetics. Whether it’s Oriental, Chype, Fougere or all out floral themed creations, this Chinese jasmine sambac can be everyone’s best friend.”

I have smelled many types of Jasmin oils, absolutes etc. This one really stands out. It is intense – a few drops go a long long way in a 10ml composition full of other potent essential oils. It is lush, loud, luminous and nevertheless devoid of any pretentious notes. It is deep and intense, full-rounded and mature. This oil has a soft animalic tonality which is not unpleasant in anyway. I highly recommend.

The most amazing jasmine absolute we encountered. As potent as the other ones, if not more, it adds subtelty without losing the expected ‘over-the-top’ jasmine profile.
It deserves the Signature Gold label, it would even deserve a new label of its own…

Jasmine monster! So beautiful? So clear? So clean? Yes..my previous sambac jasmines were nice, but they were not monsters in the best sense of the word. This one has enormous power, a strong and not at all disgusting jasmine. No need to describe my version, Adam described it perfectly. He is the king who has won another customer. Me!

I LOVE jasmine and especially Jasmine sambac. This sambac absolute is by far the BEST sambac I’ve ever smelled. So much so that I’m not sure I could go back to the Indian stuff ever again.
PS: I’m wearing it neat on my skin while I burn pure Omani Frankincense tears on charcoal. I’m in heaven!

This brings you into a fairy tale. A lovely yet profound one. Extremely powerful. I use a bit of it in everything.

The most beautiful sambac I have tried. No words can describe it. So addictive…You can’t go back once you find this one.

The BEST jasmine sumbac there is! As a kid, I spent 5 years living with my grandma in Suzhou China; where Jasmine Sumbac and white chamcapa were very popular local flowers. Girls wear them during the blooming season. Not a perfumer by any means, but I can testify to this oil, after trying 15+ different sources, I finally located a whiff of my favorite childhood memories! :-0)

Ooooh…such a gorgeous Jasmine!
This absolute is the finest Jasmine that I’ve experienced, hands down. It has a lovely, complex heart that balances the hypnotic indole effects with stately floral magic.
Truly a world-class substance…one of my Top 25 favorite Hermitage offerings.
