Peru Balsam Absolute

Adam Michael has this to say “Peru absolute is produced by solvent extraction of the balsamic resin and then transformed into an absolute through alcoholic washing. The aroma is rich balsamic, deeply ambery with a splash of vanilla sweetness.

This material is of a solid paste consistency that requires bain-marie for becoming pourable. In perfumers alcohol this material is at its best in a 20% dilution. A great material for developing leather notes, amber bases, precious wood accords and Oriental bases. Blends especially well with vanilla and is one of the best fixative materials available. We now also offer peru balsam and peru essential oil (I highly recommended this material).”
