23rd April at 4.10pm: Unfortunately, regarding the message below and lead-times, I called it wrong. My apologies. As such all orders placed upto the 15th - and about half of those placed on the 16th, will leave by Friday 26th. On Thursday no collections are possible by couriers as it's a national holiday here in Italy. On the subject of SDS, the company handling this for us, has written to me today, acknowledged more are owed to us (submitted in December and January) and that they are now working on producing the final lot of SDS for us. This includes Plantation, Wild and Jungle ouds that many of you ask about. Next, I have spent the past year (literally) sampling ambrette seed e.o and absolutes from various producers and resellers to no avail. They all smell really poor compared to what I carried. They are too nutty, too fatty, too vegetative, too lacklustre, falling away very fast, and really dont showcase the musky textured qualities of a top ambrette properly. Even the big naturals brands are all obtaining and selling sucky poor man's ambrette at the moment. Written as I have decided to move over to carrying ambrette CO2 and this will be in place until I can find a wow absolute and E.O again. CO2 is still not on par with what I had, but it offers a far better profile on the musky front than the abs and e.os in the market place right now. This CO2 will be in stock by early May. Next, we will put all the non.eu destinations we can supply to, back on our website on May 6th - so U.A.E, UK, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Australia. On the new product front, the next batch of 10 superstars will be released on the 20th May - lots more roses planned. And I will get started on expanding the bulk wholesale side of the business very soon - more aromatics and offered in larger weights as standard - likely upto a kilo on the website. Ok I will write again by Monday. Thank you, Adam : )
19th April at 5pm: Quick update to first say I have now added the following big ticket aromatics to the website: Italian Oakwood Absolute, Organic Georgian Rose Raduga Otto and finally Persian P.E.A Intense Rose (Otto). Orders, as I type with exception to 3 orders, every order placed up until the 11th has left with the couriers. By Monday 22nd, all orders placed up until the 14th will leave with couriers and I will type again across Monday with another update. Bulk Wholesale orders that still need to be manually typed and billed will be done so by Tuesday 23rd. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )
Adam Michael has this to say “This Jasmine Concrete is a true jasmine connoisseur’s dream material, and it has only taken me around three years to source! Why, because first buying concrete from producers is not always a straightforward process, many don’t want to sell it to you because they can get more money from producing the absolute with the concrete. Plus holding concrete means you can produce the absolute when your client wants it and this results in the client getting a very fresh smelling aroma profile at any time of the year. And second, unfortunately, in Egypt some of the producers think it is perfectly acceptable to reintroduce the leftover waxes from the absolute production back into the concrete. This bad practice results in a very faint smelling concrete that is somewhat fatty and rank in aroma profile. So yes it has been a lengthy process to find a producer that does things properly and to convince him that I have no intention to produce my own absolutes from the concrete!
Now, aromatically with the absolutes we carry, many describe them as a very heady affair, and without dilution, they are not only impossible to fully appreciate and evaluate but will more times than not contain some foul notes courtesy of the indole, making the opening undiluted experience so far removed from anything overly pleasant and wow.
However with this concrete that is not the case, the aroma from the bottle is soft floral, deep sweet floral, a little fruity, trace woody and less heady and piercing compared with the absolute. The indole is still of course present, just not as a standout note, it just contributes harmoniously to the overall beauty of the material. Simply, you really feel as though you are sitting with your nose inside a living jasmine flower when you smell this concrete. A truly enjoyable, luxurious, deeply comforting and soothing experience throughout.
Reddish-orange in colour, of a waxy appearance, obtained from the flowers via hexane and this jasmine concrete contains approximately 60% of the absolute.
A must for those who make solid perfumes, cosmetics, luxury soaps and even attars. If used in alcohol perfume this material will of course need filtering but it could be a very worthwhile process as aromatically this is a truly 10 out 10 material.”

Sticky, orange, waxy jasmine heaven! It has an earthiness – although still pure and sweet – to it perhaps because it comes as a material you need to handle more and get to know. Once sniffed, you are smitten. I am using it in combination with a Sambac and Jasmine Tea and the three complement each other balancing pure sweetness with green and heady notes. It is also a good value jasmine.

I ordered this form for a fragrance program and I found I prefer it to Jasmine absolute. The scent is complex and lush without being in any way overpowering. Just gorgeous!

The scent is softer and less indolic than the abs. Very much appreciated.

Like other people who have commented, we recommend with all our heart, Deep soft floral Jasmine. Perfect component of a larger composition! Best regards. Artur & Aurelya

I feel like concretes in general are a secret: their profiles are richer and more complex, complete than abs/co2s/extracts. I smell the indole almost as a separate entity, my first impression is a soft lush Jasmine, wafting and enveloping. The back note, or a deeper breath takes me to indole, but it isn’t piercing or dirty, it just makes sense.i added this to a floral accord, and it blended beyond happily. I haven’t made a perfume from the accord , so I am not sure about filtering the waxes, but they were not apparent in my mix. For ease of handling I will try to stick with concretes: so much easier to deal with a solid mass( very much like soft butter).

This is the best jasmine material I’ve ever worked with. Yes, it takes a bit more work, but in my opinion, every minute is worth its weight in gold. The scent is everything I recall from the scent of jasmine in summer where I grew up in the American South. It grew everywhere, and its blooms were both sweet and sensual. This is the entire experience of the plant – there is a green element that I find here that, though leafy, never approaches “screechville”. I will be ordering more once it is re-stocked!
