Solvent extracted from fresh Bulgarian grown flowers, this material displays all the herbaceous freshness and the sweet coumarinic facets of lavender absolute whilst offering a longer staying power.
Aromatically fresher, less sweet and overall less feminine than the French materials, this concrete with its great versatility makes an invaluable tool in the hands of the perfumer, blending well in countless perfume accords along with being very good value for money. A quite mobile liquid, yellow-green in colour, this concrete is not readily soluble in alcohol as such and finds its best application is solid perfumes but can be used also in alcohol based perfumes so long as the final product is accurately filtered.”

Deep, soft, beautiful lavender–less green than the absolute, and without the sharpness of the essential oil. Useful anytime you need lavender in your base, with the slightest hint of powder and spice.

I have had a less than ideal relationship with lavender for my whole life. The essential oils are always too medicinal and sharp for me. The absolute is a big improvement, but still not my favorite. But I am going to boldly proclaim this concrete as the BEST lavender I have ever evaluated. Of course, this is subjective – but for those who claim to dislike lavender, you MUST smell this. You may change your mind. This concrete is perfectly clear and pourable. All sharp, medicinal and strongly herbal aspects are gone, leaving perfectly clean and SOFT powdery lavender. It is an absolute dream. This would be an excellent accompaniment to floral, powder, spice and woods accords. I’ll be ordering much more on my next order!
