17th April at 2.15pm: Quick update to say all orders placed on the 9th have been collected just now by DHL. Orders placed on the 10th and 11th will all leave by the 19th. I will type again on Friday regarding orders placed from the 12th onwards. Other news, by Friday I am releasing a few more very big ticket rarities including our Italian Oakwood Absolute and a super grail rose otto. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma of marigold tagetes is full of rich saturating character, resinous fruity, fruit boozy and herbaceous floral. Deep yellow to amber in colour, produced by steam distilling both the leaves and flowers and of a pourable viscosity.
Throughout Africa this plant is commonly referred to as ‘khaki bush’, a weed with deeply divided deep-green feathery leaves and numerous yellowish-orange carnation-like flowers. The leaves and flowers are a good insect repellent and are often seen hanging from native huts to deter swarms of flies and mosquitoes.
The therapeutic properties of marigold tagetes are rather great, anti-microbial, anti-spasmodic, antiseptic, insecticide and sedative. Also used for chest infections, coughs and catarrh, dilating the bronchi, facilitating the flow of mucus and dislodging congestion and can be used in cases of skin infections. It has a healing effect on wounds, cuts, calluses, blisters and bunions. It is an ingredient of many foot treatment preparations and is also used in some perfumes. The list of therapeutic uses is truly vast.”

Herbaceous: slightly minty at the start, fruity, clary sage/green tea leaves
– Dryness of saffron & tobacco, and somewhat remotely powdery to my nose
– Boozy and honey-like warm and sweet
– It does wonder to floral and resinous compositions. – I also tried with some wild Hainan (sinensis) oud oils in some experiments – especially the bitter, floral and resinous ones – quite beautiful outcomes.

Better than the flower! And I love smelling tagetes!
It greets with honey nuances – from within them a beer aroma arises. It gradually removes itself in favour of: well, Its Herbaceousness – tagetes. Very warm, somewhat fruity and sweet tagetes that later on becomes even warmer. It arrives to what I would imagine a sap-resin hybrid of tagetes would smell like.
Interesting.

Perfect blend of something sweet like honey with drop of bitterness. Deep, smooth, warm. Very sensual
