Adam Michael has this to say “WOW. This aroma is so freaking good, and if you are a fellow nagarmotha-head like me, you need a bottle of this in your collection, it’s an absolute must buy, must try aromatic. This is super masculine from the word go, opening notes echo clean oud terrain, going on to exude incense, warm-medicinal qualities, cooling-menthol fresh air psychedelic effects, antique lacquered woods, freshly peeled ginger, ripe fig fruits, saw dust, tolu balsam and peru balsam sticky sweet fleeting traces, pencil shavings, bonfires, leather, trace fenchyl alcohol, Chinese green spikenard qualities, mint themed patchouli tonalities, Japanese Hiba wood nuances, milky Palo Santo qualities, lots of rooty and woody facets in the heart notes – especially Jade Wood oriented notes. As for the dry-down, this shows us cresole, more woods and rooty character and is finished with a touch of Tasmanian pepper. SO MANY layers are here, you could think you where evaluating a bottle of wild oud or a high-end North Indian Hydro Khus.
Sourced from Pakistan, a happy accident as I was actually looking at florals and stumbled upon this producer. 5 days on the strip, nine hours on my skin type from a generous 0.25ml swipe, light brown to dark brown subject to weight, obtained by steam distillation of the roots and my score is a solid 10 out of 10 all day long. Uses, definitely of value when building Oriental bases, developing woody and moss notes, blends great with many rich florals, ouds, sandalwoods and so on. And remember if you would like to indulge your senses in more study pieces, we also offer Bengali Nagarmotha E.O and our more classic structured Nagarmotha (Cypriol) E.O.
Finally I must pay my respects here to the Pakistani producer, who has truly set the new benchmark of excellence for nagarmotha aka cypriol aromatics in my opinion. My compliments and to all who read this, rest assured we will be working with this producer going forward.”

BRUH! This straight up reminds me of something tom ford shoved in a bottle. I can’t cusp it is it Tuscan leather? Its like the finest leather shoes money can buy, freshly polished to boot! I love that medicinal freshness, get a lot of that incense qualities similar to Palo Santo in a creamy way. Spot on. Seriously first thing I thought of was Tom Ford. There is definitely earthy patchouli facets there. I could literally dilute this to 30% and sell it as a perfume LOL!

This generously lush Nagarmotha (aptly described by Adam) is akin a thickly orchestrated Symphonic Suite on the motifs of an Oriental Fantastic Fairytale (Scheherezade!) – a dazzling flow intertwining every shade of every fiber of every mood into a captivating adventure from start to finish – from lightest flute-like hazy grasses to bassy musky roots.
To much of excitement, this Nagarmotha occasionally plays a clear melody of a pleasant Laotian Oud incense, particularly in the opening and in the drydown, and that’s a thrilling bonus, with apparitions of Spikenard and aged Patchouli all through the middle, with fleeting overtones of leather, cacao, caramel, moss, smoke, Hyrax and everything in between – on occasion.
Sultry, fuzzy, humming, hugging, lulling, antique and young, delicious, mystifying, haunting and alluring Embroidery of scents – a real aromatic story-teller you’d love to blend into 1001 perfumes… Applause!
