Phenyl Ethyl Acetate Natural Isolate

Adam Michael has this to say “Phenyl Ethyl Acetate Natural Isolate is a lovely material that straight from the bottle will charm you with its innocent scent of sweet pea flowers and delicate rose petals, but once on the smelling strip it will reveal a golden honey character infused with fragrant malt and aromatic anise-infused black liquorice notes. Naturally occurring in many fruits and flower absolutes like champaca and osmanthus, its odour strength is quite high and despite its initial innocent opening its power should not be underestimated. Best evaluated when diluted at 20% or less, this Phenyl Ethyl Acetate Natural Isolate excels when used together with Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, where it will impart vibrance to rose compositions, but also proves very useful in adding depth and a floral gracefulness to countless other perfume compositions.”

Arctander has this to say “Very slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, Propylene glycol and oils.
Very sweet, rosy-fruity, honey-like odour. The fruity notes are mostly peachy with a pleasant leafy-green tonality, the rosy notes very sweet, almost Gardenia. The title ester is widely used in perfume compositions, from everyday soap and detergents to fine cosmetic fragrances, room-sprays, deodorants etc. Its sweetness, versatility and relatively low cost makes it almost universally applicable.”
