17th April at 2.15pm: Quick update to say all orders placed on the 9th have been collected just now by DHL. Orders placed on the 10th and 11th will all leave by the 19th. I will type again on Friday regarding orders placed from the 12th onwards. Other news, by Friday I am releasing a few more very big ticket rarities including our Italian Oakwood Absolute and a super grail rose otto. Thank you, Adam : )
15th April at 5.30pm: Today I am running behind but I am happy to say that along with all E.U countries, we now can supply to the USA again. USA switched on just now and the Mysore Sandalwood 4 year aged E.O offer is extended for a week for USA clients to enjoy too. By Wednesday 17th all orders from the 9th April will be dispatched with DHL. Although we are rather full-on with orders at the moment, the lead time will improve significantly very shortly. Reason being since reopening the focus has been solely on building stocks up and we have staff coming on as well now (at last!). I will write again on Wednesday regarding lead times. This week my tasks are to get on top of the SDS we are owed by the company we have employed to handle this. And other than this I am adamant I will update the bulk wholesale list with more aromatics. Finally for now - the following 11 aromatics have recently been added to the site - French Rose Geranium E.O, Sandalwood Mysore E.O 4 Year Aged, Tuscan Olive Leaf Absolute, Mitti Attar (Petrichor), Persian Queen of Roses (Otto), Tomato Leaf Absolute, Oud Assami Skank E.O V.1, South Indian 10 Year Aged Vetiver E.O, Bengali Nagarmotha E.O, VIolet Leaf Concrete, Italian Helichrysum Absolute S.G. Thank you, Adam : )

Mark Evans has this to say “Vetiver Haiti essential oil and Reunion material (Bourbon) are renowned as the finest quality vetivers available. Haitian vetiver particularly has a cleaner, greener olfactory profile and could even be considered as having some citrus and floral touches.
The quality of this Haitian vetiver becomes more apparent on the blotter when smelling it diluted and after the top notes have dissipated somewhat. Smelling at full strength, though, there is an obvious difference to, say, Indonesian or Indian vetivers. Rather than the dry earth, clay, mushroomy notes of the former, the Haitian oil is brighter, fresher, smoother and smells initially of burnt wood with sweet earthiness. The delightfully swampy, green and grassy aromatic stage comes apparent sooner and the whole experience is more pleasant.
In perfumery, the Haitian vetiver is more sought after due to the all-around more pleasing aroma profile and also because the sought after green vetiver character becomes apparent more toward the perfume’s top notes. You also don’t have to worry so much about compensating for or covering up the pungent mushroomy top notes present in other vetivers.”
We have now created our own vetiver collection page.

This is a beautiful example of vetiver, it has those bitter, galbanum-like woody nuances made famous in perfumes like Encre Noire and Sycomore, pairs well with patchouli but also fruits like peach and apricots.

My favourite vetiver essential oil.

This is an excellent vetiver, not too smokey or harsh and for the price, this is the best staple vetiver to have on one’s organ in my opinion!

the most versatile and best Haitian Vetiver i’ve come across. Though the batch VBha06 is quite different from the previous batch i bought (VBa04). Less transparent warm-bitter and more earthy and smokey. It will be different in my recepies.
Still a beautiful Vetiver though.
