Here you will find our collection of rose oils, CO2 extracts and absolutes. These are precious materials indeed – rose extracts are famous for requiring many kilograms of flower heads to produce grams of extract and yet their smell is often surprising the first time you smell them. Rather than the light, soft rose petal scent that you would expect from rose, in reality these are deeper, earthier, honeyed and intense. Remember these are the pure, concentrated, aromatic components from the very soul of the rose and need to be diluted and blended in use. Owning and working with the finest rose materials is mandatory for the serious natural perfumer. Note that true rose otto begins to solidify below 22 degrees Celcius (71F). Gently warming the bottle in your palm should be enough to mobilise it again.
Please note: Despite their quality, all of our products are of a highly concentrated nature and are therefore to be strictly intended for perfumery and aromatherapy use only. Hermitage Oils strongly discourages internal consumption of the products, which are not intended to be used as foods in any capacity. All photos and images on this website have the sole purpose to evoke the raw materials from which the products offered are obtained, their place of origin or their scent.
